Rachel’s style reminds me of Lucian Freud. Her portraits feel very earthy and substantial. This is a great likeness of me too.

Rachel painted a portrait of me based off a photo, but she took the time to interview me and get to know my history and personality. The portrait was more me than me. It exactly resembled the me of the photo -she layered so much of my energy and character on top that it took on its own life.
